Beth Ennis, PT, EdD, PCS

Dr Ennis is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy (since 1997) and has been a physical therapist and educator for ore than 30 years.  In practice, she focuses on infants born prematurely, those with significant medical complications, and those with complex equipment needs.  Her goal is to assist those with disabilities to fully participate in their communities.  Practice includes in-person/community based services and telehealth consultations.  Dr Ennis has experience in developmental assessment, assistive technology and aquatics, to name a few.  Her educational interests include program development, and scholarly work on integrating children with special needs into community acitivities.  

As a physical therapist specializing in early child development, Dr Ennis uses emphasis on the family, and their role in the skill attainment of their child, as parents are the experts on their children. It is a partnership that allows problem solving of developmental issues, taking into consideration the unique aspects of each family. Even families with children having no developmental issues can often benefit from education in acquisition of skills.

Available Services

Developmental Evaluation

Comprehensive or specific assessment of child's developmental abilities for children age 5 and under.  Can be in person or via telehealth.  Full report provided.

Developmental Therapy

Community-based or telehealth theraputic intervention for children with developmental delays.  Emphasis on integrating activities into the family/caregiver's daily activities.  

Assisitive Technology consultation

Consultation to assist with determining appropriate assistive device, seating or mobility device, adaptive toys, or other assistive technology.  

Physical Therapy 

Therapy services tailored to address child and family's specific goals and needs -- can be home/community based, via telehealth as needed.
