Rick has dual licensure in social work and marriage and family therapy, with practice in both civilian and military settings for the last 25 years.  After 8 years of service in the Army, Rick returned to school to complete bachelors and masters degrees.  Since 2000, he has worked with families, couples, service men and women, and young adults in private practice and as a goverment employee on military bases.  He has certifications in EMDR, clinical hypnosis, and has specialized in Grief Counseling working with families with members near death, or following recent losses.
